As with any other accommodation place in Uganda, Gorillas and Wildlife Safaris cannot can guarantee that your stay at an accommodation facility like a safari lodge, tented camp, guesthouse will fully satisfy your expectations. We however get feedbacks and comments reviews from guests and compile a list of safari lodges, camps and hotels we think you can use to book your budget, moderate or luxury accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga/ Nshongi). Nkuringo Gorilla Camp , Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The Nkuringo Gorilla Camp is located at 2161m ASL on the Nteko ridge overlooking  a beautiful swath of the world renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The ridge provides a superb vantage across the Kashasha river valley to the forested hill known as 'Nkuringo' and the surrounding swathe of trees of the Bwindi Forest. Facilities include 2 beautifully hand crafted en-suite cottages and 6 Virunga Terrace rooms. Low voltage electric lighting and paraffin lanterns provide light at night where the shared bathroom facility includes, two bush showers and two eco-toilets.
The camp has a small restaurant where visitors will enjoy tasty wholesom e meals freshly prepared. Foodstuffs are purchased locally where possible to benefit the community.
Hot water is prepared for bathing
After leaving the paved road (Kisoro-Kabale Road), it takes from one and a half to two hours to get to the camp over extremely bumpy roads (getting the full African massage treatment). You witness countless small towns and villages and amazing views of the mountains and forest. Eventually you arrive at the camp, which is perched on top of a hill overlooking a small town and the surrounding hills. Immediately you are greeted by fantastic staff who are all very kind and extremely polite.
