Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro and onward transfer to Arusha.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up with our representative driver, having a short brief and then transferred to the hotel in Arusha for your dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
You will depart from your hotel in Arusha and head for Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is famous for it’s bird life which congregate around the soda lake, If you are fortunate you might see the migratory !amingoes performing their dance over the lake!
Arrival Lake Manyara Serena Lodge will be in time for dinner. This wi" give you a chance witness the dramatic Lodge se#ing as it overlooks, the Great Ri$ Va"ey, the beautiful Soda Lake of Manyara and the park itself.
Lake Manyara National Park is known for the amingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in ocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. Ngorongoro is famous for the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazees and other animals into the northern plains. And the Serengeti is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 miion white bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile and honey badger
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge y before a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, The Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions abut also a very diverse animal population due to its varied habitat. There are large herds of buffalo and zebra as well as blue monkeys and baboons.
A$er lunch you shall leave Lake Manyara behind you and depart for Serengeti National Park - the heart of wild Africa – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. One of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp
The seemingly endless grasslands of the Serengeti are also the stage for the famous wildebeest migration. On the annual migration 1.5 million wildebeest and other game, such as zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala and topi move on mass between Kenya’s Masai Mara, then into Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti. This mass movement is driven by the rains, and the herds’ endless search for water and good grazing.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the lodge then you will proceed with game drive in southern of Serengeti National park, Ndutu area for two days. A striking characteristic of this area is the stunning acacia woodland, which is immediately surrounded by the short grass plains. Within this wooded area is Lake Ndutu – one of the Rift Valley’s soda lakes. At the height of the wildebeest migration, and when heavy rains have fallen, often lines of wildebeest can be seen crossing the lake. Accompanying the wildebeest are large numbers of zebra and Thomson gazelles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning after having breakfast continue with game drive. In the afternoon you drive en route (optional stopover at Olduvai) to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp
The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years. Several animal and bird species are found here. Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Black Rhinos, Cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Impalas, Gazelles and others may be spotted here.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we descend into this magnificent crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Another big draw card to this picturesque park is the dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater then you will continue with game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.
Day 7: Serengeti / Zanzibar
After breakfast drive to Seronera airstrip for our flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar, you meed with our representative for rhyour transfer to the resort in Zanzibar.
You will touch down at Zanzibar airport at around 1420 hrs where our local representative will meet and assist you to your private vehicle, followed by transfer to your beach resort. Evening will be at leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay at Zanzibar Queen Hotel. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner).
Days 8 and 9: Zanzibar
Day at leisure in Zanzibar.
Breakfast, Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 10: Departure
Breakfast at your resort, check out of rooms by 1000 hrs. We will pick and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport on time for your flight to your next destination.
