Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Manyara National Park.
Our 2-day Ngorongoro Manyara Safari commences from Arusha when we set off for Lake Manyara National Park.
While at Lake Manyara National Park we start off with a game drive early enough to spot the “Big Five” mammals.
Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park provides picturesque, yet varying scenery.
Throughout the day we will experience the shrubbery of the golden savannah, mighty rivers, and amazing wildlife. We will eat our picnic lunch in the heart of the beautiful park. Soda Lake and the surrounding savannah support the highly diverse ecosystem, leading to the diverse array of wildlife to be viewed within the park. With over four hundred species of dazzling birds, some of which are migratory, Lake Manyara National Park is a birdwatcher's paradise. Lake Manyara is home to legendary tree-climbing lions as well as powerful water buffalo, immense African elephants, soaring giraffes, graceful impalas, and gigantic hippos.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area, transfer to Arusha
We will have an early start to the day to ensure that we complete the itinerary for the day which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater due to its elevated walls. This means you are capable of spotting every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some of the other wildlife that you can expect to see include zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hyenas. The craters also feature an extensive bird population including geese, storks, and vultures. You will also be graced with sights of the lovely flamingos on the Soda Lake. Our guides are highly skilled and will impress you with their ability to track down animals. This is a skill that a book
cannot teach you and that a selected few can perform.
Your Ngorongoro Manyara safari will come to an end in the late afternoon, and we will proceed back to Arusha.
